Sanford's Feet of Clay

I patently object to Democrats feasting on this man's affair. We all have feet of clay and to indulge the "flies on poop" media is appalling. However with that being said, we do need to call out the hypocrisy of politicizing morality and even politicizing God. We are all a bit sick and tired of the "Holier than thou" political stance of the Republican Party.

A tree will be known by its fruit, we all have feet of clay, and we should treat others the way we would want to be treated--what a world we would live in if we lived by those principles. We would make wiser choices, be humble in our cogent compassion, and restore people and forgive people who changed their ways.

The real crime with this story is that it is bumping the horrid human rights violations going on in Iran. I hope the media will get back to joining with the rest of the world and applying pressure on the Iranian government to give the people a fair vote. If they stopped the violence and gave them a legitimate vote, the protests would stop.

Yes, the gossipy titillation of a fallen politician is great media fodder; however there are far greater fish to fry in the realm of moral injustice than a personal affair. Let's back off and refocus out of dignity to not only Sanford's wife and family, but the Iranian citizens who should have the world's focus.
