ABC's Journalistic Joke

It is an insult to the American citizen to be considered so shallow as to swallow the sensationalist tabloid sliming that is a poser for journalistic excellence—objective journalistic excellence. Oh, did we forget that ethos of our call to public service? Remember, journalists are to provide objective opportunities to inform the citizenry. No, journalists are not dumming it down for America. It is clear to me that they lack the substance to appropriately serve our public, for they are not of the caliber that is able to comprehend the issues that matter to the American people. Journalists did not get it right during Bill Clinton’s disgrace—the public did not want this spread throughout the media; they got it wrong with the Iraq war that not only lost America more lives than 911, but will be costing my children’s children; they got it wrong by not impeaching Bush and standing up for American liberties; and you continue to get it wrong. WE DO NOT GIVE A DAME ABOUT YOUR MICHAEL JACKSON; BRITTANY SPEARS; PARIS HILTON SOCIAL BULLYING. Steve Colbert and Jon Stewart have it right. You are bad for America—because you are lazy and you have no courage to stand up to the growing corporate manipulation. You are complacent and guilty of allowing our fore fathers’ vision to be flushed down the toilet of trash talking tabloid treachery.
